Kasemrad Hospital Rattanathibeth Provides Mobile First Aid Services to Ensure Athlete Safety at the “2nd Winter Thailand Open 2026”

On 31 January 2026, Kasemrad Hospital Rattanathibeth provided a mobile first aid unit with trained medical personnel to support emergency medical preparedness during the 2nd Winter Thailand Open 2026 swimming competition, held at the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization Swimming Pool.

The initiative aimed to ensure the safety of athletes, event organizers, and participants by delivering on-site first aid services, medical equipment readiness, and prompt emergency response throughout the competition. This activity reflects the hospital’s commitment to promoting health, safety, and well-being, while supporting sports activities and contributing to the enhancement of community health on a continuous basis.

  • The provision of on-site first aid and emergency medical preparedness helps reduce the risk of injuries and enhances immediate response during sports competitions. (Target 3.6) By 2030, halve the number of global deaths and injuries from road traffic accidents.
  • Providing first aid services at public sporting events supports access to essential healthcare services and promotes health protection for athletes and participants. (Target 3.8) Achieve universal health coverage, including access to quality essential health-care services.
