On Friday, 13 February 2026, Kasemrad Saraburi Hospital collaborated with the Lopburi Provincial Red Cross to organize a blood donation activity under the project “Because Love Is Giving,” in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The event was held at Ratchaphruek Conference Room, 12th Floor, Kasemrad Saraburi Hospital, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The activity received strong support from volunteer police officers, military personnel, government officials, and members of the public who joined together to donate blood to help strengthen blood reserves for patients in need. The atmosphere throughout the event was warm and filled with a spirit of generosity and compassion.

A total of 85 donors participated in the blood donation activity. Kasemrad Saraburi Hospital extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all participants whose valuable contributions helped save lives and promote a culture of giving and social responsibility.

• The blood donation activity supports the availability of blood reserves for patient treatment, enhances access to essential healthcare services, and strengthens the resilience of the healthcare system. (Target 3.8) Achieve universal health coverage, including access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.
• Blood donation through volunteer participation helps strengthen healthcare system preparedness, particularly in emergency situations where blood supply is critical for timely and effective medical treatment. (Target 3.d) Strengthen the capacity of all countries for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks.

• The activity reflects collaboration among healthcare institutions, public sector agencies, and volunteers, promoting multi-stakeholder partnerships to support public health and sustainable development. (Target 17.17) Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships.
