Kasemrad Hospital Ramkhamhaeng Conducted a Facebook Live Session on “Rabies Awareness During the Summer Season”
Kasemrad Hospital Ramkhamhaeng organized a Facebook Live health talk titled “Stay Alert This Summer: Rabies Awareness and Prevention” to educate the public on the risks of rabies during the summer season, when exposure to animal carriers is more likely. The session provided guidance on prevention, symptom recognition, and appropriate actions following animal bites or scratches.
The session was delivered by an Emergency Medicine Physician, who provided information on initial wound care, timely medical treatment, and the importance of vaccination for disease prevention. Emphasis was placed on seeking appropriate medical care when exposure occurs to reduce the risk of severe complications.
This activity was held on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, from 10:00–10:40 hrs. via an online platform, enabling broad public access to health information. It also supports increased awareness of personal health and safety in daily life.
