Kasemrad International Hospital Rattanatibeth Organized Health Talk on “Understanding HPV to Prevent Cervical Cancer”
Kasemrad International Hospital Rattanatibeth organized a health talk titled “Understanding HPV: Preventing Cervical Cancer Before It’s Too Late” on 25 March 2026 at the hospital’s ground floor hall. The activity aimed to raise awareness and promote knowledge about the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), a key risk factor associated with cervical cancer.
The session was delivered by a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive medicine, covering topics on prevention, screening, and appropriate women’s health care. Participants were also given the opportunity to engage directly with the physician through Q&A and knowledge exchange.
This activity reflects the hospital’s commitment to disease prevention, improving access to health information, and promoting appropriate health behaviors to support long-term well-being.

- Providing knowledge on cervical cancer prevention and screening supports the reduction of non-communicable disease risks and promotes appropriate healthcare practices. Target 3.4 Reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment, and promote well-being.
- Disseminating knowledge about HPV and its prevention enhances public awareness and strengthens health risk management. Target 3.d Strengthen the capacity for health risk management.
- The health talk serves as a platform for sharing knowledge with the public, supporting informed decision-making and lifelong learning. Target 4.7 Ensure that all learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development.
