Kasemrad Hospital Prachinburi Launched “Healthy Monks, Healthy Nation” Program to Support Influenza Vaccination
Kasemrad Hospital Prachinburi organized the “Healthy Monks, Healthy Nation” initiative in collaboration with the Prachinburi Provincial Ecclesiastical Office. The program provided influenza vaccinations (trivalent vaccine) for 224 monks and novices at Wat Thammapothisri (Had Yang), Prachinburi Province, as part of its 6th annual implementation in 2026.
The initiative aims to promote disease prevention and reduce health risks among monks, who play an important role in the community. It reflects collaboration between the healthcare sector and religious institutions in supporting public health.


- Providing influenza vaccination services to monks supports equitable access to healthcare and disease prevention. Target 3.8 Achieve universal access to quality healthcare services and vaccines.
- Vaccination helps reduce the risk of disease transmission within communities. Target 3.d Strengthen capacity for health risk prevention and management.
- Collaboration between hospitals and religious institutions supports the delivery of public health initiatives at the community level. Target 17.17 Encourage effective partnerships among public, private, and civil society sectors.
