Kasemrad Hospital Sriburin Launched “Healthy Monks, Strong Temples, Healthy Communities” Program

Kasemrad Hospital Sriburin organized the “Healthy Monks, Strong Temples, Healthy Communities” program (Temple Health Volunteer Monks) on 23 March 2026 to enhance health knowledge, first aid skills, and safety awareness among monks in the community.

The program included both lectures and hands-on training on key topics such as Basic Life Support (CPR) and AED usage, nutrition to reduce the risk of non-communicable diseases, and basic firefighting skills to improve emergency preparedness. This initiative reflects collaboration between healthcare authorities and local partners in strengthening the capacity of monks to care for their own health and contribute to community well-being.

  • Providing nutrition education to reduce sodium intake supports the prevention of non-communicable diseases. Target 3.4 Reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment.
  • Training on CPR, AED usage, and first aid enhances the capacity to respond to health emergencies. Target 3.d Strengthen capacity for health risk prevention and management.

BCH is committed to strengthening community capacity in health and safety.
