Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane Welcomed Students for Study Visit to Promote Health Education
On 25 February 2026, Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane welcomed a group of 50 students and 3 teachers from the Australian International School for an educational field trip within the hospital. The event was formally opened by hospital executives, who warmly received the participants.
The activity aimed to promote experiential learning outside the classroom by introducing students to the roles of healthcare professionals, hospital services, and basic healthcare practices through age-appropriate activities. This helped enhance understanding, reduce anxiety, and foster positive attitudes toward healthcare facilities.
The hospital recognizes the importance of building health knowledge from an early age as a foundation for lifelong well-being. This initiative also reflects strong collaboration between the education and healthcare sectors in supporting the sustainable development of youth across physical, mental, and social dimensions.

- Instilling health knowledge from an early age supports long-term healthy behaviors. Target 3.4 Reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases.
- Collaboration between hospitals and educational institutions supports youth development. Target 17.17 Encourage effective partnerships among public, private, and civil society sectors.
BCH is committed to promoting health education and youth development to build a sustainable and high-quality society.
