BCH Donates Used Calendars to Support Braille Educational Materials and Expand Learning Opportunities for the Visually Impaired
On 19 May 2026, Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH) led by Dr. Pornsuda Harnphanich, C.P.S., Deputy Chief Financial Officer, together with affiliated hospitals including Kasemrad Hospital, Kasemrad International Hospital, World Medical Hospital, and Karunvej Hospital, donated 1,036 used desk calendars, weighing a total of 240 kilograms, to the Educational Technology Center for the Blind. The donated calendars will be reused to produce Braille educational materials for visually impaired individuals.
This initiative reflects the collaboration among BCH personnel in promoting responsible resource utilization and waste reduction through the reuse of discarded materials for social benefit. The project not only supports educational opportunities and access to learning materials for visually impaired communities, but also contributes positively to environmental sustainability through appropriate material reuse and waste minimization. In this regard, BCH also received a letter of appreciation from the Educational Technology Center for the Blind in recognition of its continued support and contribution toward creating shared value for society.
