Kasemrad Hospital Prachinburi Participates in the “Friend for Friend” Project Raising Awareness on Drug Abuse and Online Threats among Youth

On 13 February 2026, the Anti-Human Trafficking Center of Prachinburi Provincial Police, in collaboration with Kasemrad Hospital Prachinburi, organized the “Friend for Friend” project to raise awareness about drug abuse and online threats among students of Prachinkalyani School.

The activity featured an educational session on the topic “E-cigarettes: A New Emerging Threat,” along with an interactive bingo activity titled “The Silent Danger of E-cigarettes,” designed to enhance students’ understanding of health risks in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.

Kasemrad Prachinburi Hospital extends its sincere appreciation to the Anti-Human Trafficking Center of Prachinburi Provincial Police for the opportunity to participate in this meaningful project, which contributes to strengthening social awareness and promoting the health and well-being of youth in a sustainable manner.

  • Raising awareness of the harmful effects of e-cigarettes helps reduce risk factors for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and supports the adoption of healthier lifestyles among young people. (Target 3.4) Reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and promote mental health and well-being.
  • The activity provides education on the health risks of e-cigarettes and substance abuse, helping to raise awareness among youth, reduce the risk of substance use, and promote preventive healthcare behaviors. (Target 3.5) Strengthen the prevention and treatment of substance abuse, including narcotic drug abuse and harmful use of alcohol.
  • The “Friend for Friend” project strengthens social awareness and resilience among youth by improving understanding of online threats and substance-related risks, thereby reducing vulnerability to exploitation and harm. (Target 16.2) End abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against children.
  • The initiative reflects collaboration among law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, and healthcare providers, promoting multi-stakeholder partnerships to support youth well-being and sustainable social development. (Target 17.17) Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships.
