On 23 June 2025, Kasemrad International Hospital Aranyaprathet (ARAN) received a Cambodian emergency patient who crossed the border through the Ban Khlong Luek–Poipet permanent checkpoint to receive urgent treatment for an acute cardiac condition, following a referral and medical recommendation from Thai physicians.

The transfer was made possible through close coordination between Thai and Cambodian authorities, ensuring smooth cross-border passage under humanitarian principles. The hospital’s medical and nursing teams provided immediate and continuous care upon the patient’s arrival.
