Kasemrad Hospital Partners with BCD to Launch the “Oral Health Promotion Project for Buddhist Monks”

On 29 January 2026, Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH), through its Kasemrad Hospital network, in collaboration with Bangkok Chain Dental Company Limited (BCD), officially launched the Oral Health Promotion Project for Buddhist Monks. The project aims to promote proper oral healthcare and enhance the quality of life of Buddhist monks and novices by providing dental services through mobile dental clinics, alongside education on correct oral health practices.

The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Apichai Aramsri, Deputy Governor of Nonthaburi Province, who presided over the event. Attendees also included Professor Dr. Chalerm Harnphanich, M.D., Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited; Mr. Kantaporn Harnphanich, Chief Marketing Officer of Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited; Dr. Kanokrat Chandanusuwan, Director of Bangkok Chain Dental Company Limited; and Mr. Kulapat Taemsamphaolert, Dental Public Health Specialist and Deputy Provincial Chief Medical Officer of Nonthaburi Province.

Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • The project enhances access to essential dental services for Buddhist monks and novices, supporting equitable access to quality healthcare. (Target 3.8) Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality, and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.
  • The project also emphasizes disease prevention and long-term well-being by strengthening healthcare capacity to manage health risks. (Target 3.d) Strengthen the capacity of all countries, in particular developing countries, for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks.
  • The project supports inclusive access to healthcare services for groups with specific limitations. (Target 10.2) By 2030, empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion or economic or other status.
  • The project reflects effective collaboration among public and private sectors and relevant stakeholders in advancing sustainable development. (Target 17.17) Encourage and promote effective public, public-private and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.
