“Kasemrad Hospital Ramkhamhaeng organized the event ‘Health Talk + Because Good Health Cannot Be Bought’ on the occasion of World Cancer Day.”
Kasemrad Hospital Ramkhamhaeng organized the event “Health Talk + Because Good Health Cannot Be Bought” on the occasion of World Cancer Day, with the objective of promoting public awareness on cancer prevention, early screening, and appropriate healthcare practices. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Montien Pengsomboon, Director of Kasemrad Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, together with Dr. Saroj Marumdee, Deputy Director and Head of the Social Security Center, and Ms. Vallapa Sribantao, Marketing Director, who joined the activity.
The event featured a special seminar titled “Cancer: Early Detection Can Lead to Successful Treatment”, delivered by Dr. Chompoonut Worajanyawong, a medical oncologist, providing knowledge on recognizing symptoms, accurate diagnosis, and proper treatment approaches. This was complemented by a session titled “Choosing the Right Foods to Help Prevent Cancer, a nutrition pharmacist, who shared practical dietary guidance to promote good health and reduce cancer risk in daily life.
In addition, health check-up packages and health-related products were offered at special prices at booths located in the service hall on the first floor of Kasemrad Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, facilitating access to healthcare services and encouraging the public to prioritize preventive health care.

- The Health Talk activity provides knowledge on cancer prevention, screening, and health management. As cancer is a non-communicable disease, the activity helps raise public awareness and supports preventive healthcare practices. (Target 3.4) By 2030, reduce by one third premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment, and promote mental health and well-being.
