“KASEMRAD Application” Advancing Digital Healthcare Services to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Support the Net Zero 2050 Goal

The Kasemrad Hospital Group has launched the “KASEMRAD Application,” a digital health platform designed to provide convenient and seamless access to medical services anytime and anywhere via smartphones, while supporting environmentally responsible healthcare delivery.

The application helps reduce unnecessary hospital visits, paper usage, and resource consumption, contributing to lower energy use and reduced greenhouse gas emissions from healthcare operations.

This initiative is part of the organization’s environmental strategy and supports its commitment to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, through the adoption of digital solutions that enhance efficiency and minimize environmental impacts.

  • The implementation of the KASEMRAD Application enhances resource efficiency by reducing paper usage and minimizing unnecessary hospital visits, supporting more sustainable healthcare service delivery. (Target 12.2) By 2030, achieve the sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources.
  • Digital healthcare services help prevent paper waste and optimize operational processes, contributing to waste reduction across hospital operations. (Target 12.5) By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.
  • The initiative supports BCH’s environmental strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from operations and aligns with its commitment to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. (Target 13.2) Integrate climate change measures into policies, strategies and planning.
