Kasemrad Hospital Chachoengsao organized “FIT FOR HEALTH” to promote the prevention and care of obesity for sustainable health

Kasemrad Hospital Chachoengsao organized “FIT FOR HEALTH, Reduce Obesity, Reduce Disease for Better Health” on June 27, 2026 to promote knowledge on prevention and care for obesity, which is one of the major risk factors of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The activity aims to raise awareness and encourage people to take proper care of their health, leading to a good quality of life in the long run.

In the activity, a team of medical experts shared knowledge about the causes of obesity, health effects, treatment guidelines and methods of weight loss in accordance with medical principles. The team also provided opportunities for participants to exchange doubts and receive specialized advice to promote health knowledge (Health Literacy) and support appropriate health behavior modification, which reduces the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases and creates sustainable health.

  • Promote knowledge on the prevention of obesity and health behavior modification to reduce the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs). SDG Target 3.4 Reduces premature death from non-communicable diseases and promotes health and wellness.
  • Transfer knowledge of nutrition, weight control and health care to enhance health knowledge. SDG Target 4.7 encourages everyone to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable development.
