Kasemrad Hospital Saraburi organized “FIT FUN FIRM” to promote the elderly to avoid NCDs and have a good quality of life
Kasemrad Hospital Saraburi organized the “FIT FUN FIRM to be Healthy” activity to promote preventive health care for the elderly. The medical staff and multidisciplinary team have passed on knowledge on the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia, along with initial health assessment, abdominal fat measurement and nutrition advice to encourage the elderly to take care of their health properly.
In the event, there will also be a workshop on health menus, exercise training to reduce the risk of falling by physiotherapists, and recreational activities to promote physical movement and participation of the elderly. The activity reflects the hospital’s commitment to promoting proactive health (Preventive Healthcare) and building health knowledge (Health Literacy) to ensure that the elderly are healthy, reduce the risk of chronic disease, and be able to live a quality and self-sufficient life sustainably.
