Bangkok Chain Hospital Named Among ESG100 Companies for the Seventh Consecutive Year

On July 19, 2024, Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH), a leading private hospital operator under the brands World Medical Hospital, Kasemrad International Hospital, Kasemrad Hospital, and Karunvej Hospital, was recognized as one of Thailand’s ESG100 Companies for outstanding performance in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices by the Thaipat Institute.
Prof. Dr. Chalerm Harnpanich, Chief Executive Officer of BCH, stated that the company was selected as part of the ESG100 List 2024 by the Thaipat Institute, which evaluated 920 listed companies and identified BCH as one of the top ESG-performing firms in the Service Sector. This marks the seventh consecutive year (2018–2024) that BCH has been included in the ESG100 Index, recognizing its continued excellence in sustainability management.
“BCH remains committed to advancing medical excellence while integrating sustainability across the entire organization. We emphasize patient-centered care, compassion, and continuous improvement in healthcare quality to enhance patients’ health, happiness, and overall well-being. Our management is guided by integrity, transparency, and accountability, with a strong focus on minimizing environmental impacts and creating shared value for communities, employees, partners, and all stakeholders,” said Prof. Dr. Chalerm. He further emphasized that BCH continues to expand its medical services through strategic collaborations — including the Kasemrad Aree Cancer Center, Mobile Dental Unit, Elderly and Dependent Care Programs, and the Cell Harvesting and Stem Cell Banking Center — initiatives that contribute to public health, improve quality of life, and drive sustainable business growth.
The Thaipat Institute’s ESG100 assessment integrates both ESG performance and financial results, identifying companies that demonstrate strong commitments to responsible and sustainable business practices. The Institute, a pioneer in corporate sustainability data development, first launched the ESG100 list in 2015 and continues to evaluate listed companies annually to provide valuable insights for investors who prioritize responsible investment in businesses that deliver both sustainability and long-term returns.
