BCH drives the “Give Life, Give Blister Pack” Project for the Second Round, Promoting Circular Economy and Sustainability

Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited continues to drive the “Give Life, Give Blister Pack” project by encouraging patients and the public to participate in collecting used medication blister packs and medicine sachets through hospitals across the Group. The collected materials are then systematically consolidated and transferred for appropriate sorting, recycling, and further utilization. The project is not limited to the head office, but reflects the collective participation of hospitals across various locations within the Group. For the second round, the Company collected 155 kilograms of used blister packs and 14 kilograms of medicine sachets, totaling 169 kilograms. This demonstrates participation across the hospital network while promoting efficient resource use, reducing waste sent for disposal, and supporting the principles of the Circular Economy. The initiative is also aligned with SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 13: Climate Action.

BCH aims to further develop the project as part of its long-term sustainability approach by promoting participation among patients, the public, and hospitals across the Group in responsible resource and waste management. The initiative also supports efforts to reduce environmental impacts and greenhouse gas emissions through more efficient use of resources and waste management practices. The Company will continue to implement the project on an ongoing basis to broaden participation and support organizational growth alongside the creation of long-term environmental, social, and sustainability value.
