BCH Strengthens Public-Sector Collaboration to Support Flood Impact Management and Sustainable Community Recovery
Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH) recognizes the importance of responsible business practices and collaboration with external stakeholders (External Stakeholder Engagement) in supporting communities affected by natural disasters. Flooding, in particular, can have significant implications for public health, sanitation, the environment, and people's daily lives. On October 7, 2026, the Company supported the Department of Water Resources in its efforts to assist and restore the Rom Klao Housing Community in Lat Krabang District, Bangkok, which had been affected by flooding. The Company donated essential supplies and medical products at the Department of Water Resources headquarters to support government-led relief and recovery efforts in the affected area.
The donated items included cleaning equipment, personal protective equipment, medical supplies, and essential hygiene products for use following floodwater recession. These supplies are intended to support the cleaning of homes and community areas, as well as help address potential health and sanitation risks associated with post-flood conditions. The Department of Water Resources will distribute the donated supplies and medical products to the Rom Klao Housing Community to support environmental cleanup, alleviate difficulties faced by affected residents, and facilitate the community's return to normal daily activities.
This collaboration reflects the involvement of both the private and public sectors in addressing the impacts of water-related disasters through coordinated efforts and the provision of essential resources to affected communities. The Company recognizes the importance of public health and sanitation alongside environmental recovery following flooding, as these issues are closely linked to community well-being and quality of life. This initiative also forms part of the Company's approach to stakeholder engagement in responding to social and environmental challenges affecting local communities.
The Company places importance on social responsibility initiatives that reflect community circumstances and the needs of affected populations. Through collaboration with relevant government agencies, the Company seeks to support public health, safety, and community recovery. Its contribution to the Department of Water Resources represents another example of the Company's commitment to corporate social responsibility and its participation in addressing flood-related impacts through cross-sector collaboration, in line with its broader approach to corporate sustainability.
